Cultivating Nature, Every Day
Cultivating Nature, Every Day Our main estate spans approximately one hectare of land surrounding the farmhouse. Here, you will find our farm shop alongside our specialized honey extraction lab and educational workshops. One of our most cherished activities is hosting educational tours focused on the fascinating world of bees, specially designed for children.
The surrounding fields are dedicated to growing fruits, while just across the village of Molveno, our stable is home to goats, rabbits, and chickens. Nearby, we also cultivate potatoes and seasonal vegetables, ensuring a true farm-to-table supply for our restaurant.
The flagship of the company’s activity remains the beekeeping: about 80 hives that are moved in various areas of Trentino according to the blooms, because in the areas of Molveno you can only produce a thousand-flowered mountain honey and spruce. The activity begins in May in the Val d’Adige with the acacia, so you move in Valsugana and Val di Cembra for the lime and chestnut. For rhododendro honey it is necessary to move much higher, in the valley of the Mocheni. The aisle bee is the carnic subspecies, particularly cold-resistant and therefore suitable to endure the long winters typical of these areas. The various types of honey produced include acacia, lime, chestnut, apple, tarassaco, millefiori and rhododendro, as well as spruce. The honey then joins other bees products, especially pollen, propolis and wax.
